About the Role
X, The Moonshot Factory is seeking an early career Machine Learning Engineer for its Tapestry project, focusing on electric grid challenges. The role involves building and deploying ML models in production, working on enterprise-quality ML systems across multiple domains. It offers the opportunity to stay at the forefront of ML advancements and collaborate with a team of experts.
Responsibilities
- Train and deploy machine learning models in production environments
- Work with senior team members to develop enterprise quality ML systems
- Operationalize ML model training and serving at enterprise scale
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics or related field
- Experience in machine learning model development and engineering
- Expertise in one or more: multimodal ML, NLP, agentic AI, planning, control, reinforcement learning
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience building and deploying ML systems at scale, or proven ability to perform applied ML research
Nice to Have
- PhD in a related field
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
