Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Computer Vision)

Factored is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer specialized in Computer Vision to design and deploy advanced vision systems for global and Fortune 500 companies. This fully remote role involves end-to-end ownership of models from experimentation to production, working with deep learning frameworks and cloud platforms.

• Develop and fine-tune models for image classification, object detection, segmentation, and generative modeling using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Implement resizing, normalization, data augmentation, and feature extraction to improve performance.
• Optimize and deploy computer vision models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), edge devices, and specialized hardware (GPUs, TPUs).
• Use CI/CD, model versioning, and monitoring tools for reliable and scalable deployment.
• Improve model speed using quantization, pruning, and hardware acceleration techniques.

• +5 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying ML models in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras).
• Expertise in image classification (ResNet, EfficientNet), object detection (Faster R-CNN, YOLO, SSD), or image segmentation (U-Net, Mask R-CNN).
• Strong understanding of image preprocessing techniques.
