About the Role
The AI Program Manager will drive the strategy and execution of an AI framework for the state government. They collaborate with agency stakeholders to develop product roadmaps and govern AI use cases. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Define and champion the vision, strategy and roadmap for AI adoption across state government.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI opportunities.
- Establish and enforce clear processes for AI project assessment, approval, testing, and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Champion responsible AI development and deployment practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.
- 5+ years in a leadership role with strategic initiative development.
- Demonstrated experience in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
