Staff ML Engineer, FinTech (Remote)

Hirenixa is hiring a Staff ML Engineer to lead applied AI projects in the fintech domain, focusing on developing machine learning models, integrating LLMs and RAG techniques, and scaling data pipelines. The role offers remote flexibility and involves mentoring junior engineers.

• Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms for applied AI projects in fintech.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing systems.
• Research and implement cutting-edge technologies such as large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for AI initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Evaluate and optimize model performance in production environments.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence with applied projects.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries/frameworks.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Experience in the fintech industry with understanding of financial products and services.
