Hippocratic AI is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer for its Residency Program to design and deploy safe, autonomous clinical conversation workflows. The role involves developing advanced LLM prompts, engineering patient interaction logic, and building integrations with healthcare systems like EHRs and telephony platforms. Residents will work closely with clinicians and engineers to ensure clinical safety and optimize patient experience in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced prompts using techniques like chain-of-thought and few-shot learning for complex agentic workflows.
- Engineer conversation logic and patient interactions that balance clinical accuracy, safety guardrails, and user experience.
- Design and build integrations connecting conversational agents to customer EHRs, scheduling systems, and telephony platforms via HL7/FHIR and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with clinicians and product managers to translate requirements into conversation designs and iterate based on real-world feedback.
- Conduct rigorous experiments on model outputs and prompt variations to measure impact on clinical safety and satisfaction metrics.
Requirements
