Hastings Direct is seeking an MLOps Engineer to productionise pricing models and data science workflows. You will build and maintain machine learning pipelines, focusing on Python, SQL, automation, and controlled delivery in a regulated environment. The role involves collaboration with Pricing, Data Science, Data Engineering, and ML Engineering teams to ensure models are testable, releasable, and monitorable.
Responsibilities
- Build, improve, and maintain machine learning pipelines for Market Pricing.
- Productionise Python-based models, notebooks, and data science workflows.
- Move models from development to repeatable, tested, and documented production processes.
- Improve testing, release, monitoring, and maintenance of model workflows.
- Investigate issues across data, model, and pipeline workflows.
- Automate manual steps to improve quality, speed, or control.
- Support engineering practices including Git, code review, testing, and documentation.
- Ensure pipelines and model workflows are traceable, auditable, and safe to change.
- Collaborate with Pricing, Data Science, Data Engineering, ML Engineering, and governance stakeholders.
Requirements
