Boeing is seeking a Senior Artificial Intelligence Governance Architect to design and operate its enterprise AI governance program. This role involves developing AI policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with frameworks like NIST AI RMF and the EU AI Act. The ideal candidate has a systems engineering or operational background and experience building scalable governance processes.
Responsibilities
Lead design and operationalization of AI governance program infrastructure, including intake processes, review workflows, risk tiering, and approval frameworks
Develop and release enterprise AI policies, standards, and guidelines for responsible AI use
Conduct and coordinate AI risk assessments and track compliance actions through closure
Evaluate AI capabilities and vendor-supplied models, including generative AI, for alignment with responsible AI standards
Monitor legislation and regulatory guidance (NIST AI RMF, DoD AI Ethics, EU AI Act) and develop organizational readiness
Define documentation standards for AI systems such as model cards and impact assessments
Build and deliver AI governance training for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with engineering, legal, compliance, and business partners to integrate governance requirements
Requirements
5+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or software engineering
