About the Role
Avathon Government is seeking a Solutions Architect to serve as technical subject matter expert and machine learning design authority for defense customers. The role involves providing product demonstrations, responding to RFPs, and leading technical solution strategy. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of AI/ML experience and a background in technical sales within the federal government sector.
Responsibilities
- Provide web and in-person product overview and demonstrations of Avathon's software products
- Coordinate with the sales/capture team to respond to RFPs and technical author for competitive deals
- Participate in client sales call planning, preparation and meetings
- Lead technical solution strategy throughout the capture and proposal lifecycle
- Collaborate with team members across organization to design and implement product growth
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience with technical sales; Enterprise and/or Partner Sales
- 3+ years experience with AI/ML solutions
- BS/BA or higher-level degree in a relevant field
- Strong, hands-on technical background with a consultative approach
- Deep understanding and exposure to Federal Government customers and technology applications
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Travel required
