Full Stack Data Scientist

Boeing BDS is seeking a Full Stack Data Scientist to design, build, and operate AI/ML platform capabilities. The role combines data science, MLOps, platform engineering, and DevOps to enable secure, scalable AI/ML solutions. The candidate will work across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, supporting both traditional ML and generative AI workflows.

• Design, build, deploy, and operate secure, scalable AI/ML platform capabilities for Boeing BDS users and programs. Develop and maintain data pipelines, workflow orchestration, and data integration services. Build and support MLOps workflows for model training, experiment tracking, model registry, deployment, inference, monitoring, and lifecycle management. Engineer and operate infrastructure for traditional ML and generative AI workloads, including on-premises and hybrid model serving. Deploy, administer, and optimize containerized applications using Kubernetes and ecosystem tools. Implement CI/CD and GitOps workflows for secure software and model delivery. Configure observability including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting. Apply DevSecOps principles across application and infrastructure delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field. 3+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, data engineering, MLOps, or machine learning infrastructure. 3+ years of experience with Python. 3+ years of experience with Docker, Podman, Buildah, and Kubernetes. 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines. 3+ years of experience with data pipeline orchestration and production data workflows. 3+ years of experience with monitoring, logging, and observability. 3+ years of experience in Linux-based environments.
