Senior Data Scientist II

ActiveCampaign is seeking a Senior Data Scientist II specializing in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to develop and optimize AI models. The role involves implementing RAG systems, prompt engineering, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have strong Python skills and machine learning experience.

• Test, evaluate and implement AI models with a focus on RAG.
• Perform prompt engineering and testing to derive desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions.
• Optimize RAG models for performance, scalability, and cost savings.
• Conduct research on advancements in AI and machine learning.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Troubleshoot and debug AI models in monorepo settings.
• Document AI models, processes, and workflows.

• Proven experience in Agentic drafting.
• Proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist II or similar.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• In-depth knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models.
• Experience in prompt engineering.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
