Bentley University is hiring a Generative AI Solutions Engineer to design, build, and operationalize enterprise AI agents that support student success. The role spans AI-enabled analytics, data governance, data engineering, and reporting, working with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, and Microsoft Fabric. The engineer will build retrieval-augmented generation solutions, maintain data quality and lineage, and develop Power BI dashboards to monitor AI performance and pipeline reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, test, and maintain student, advisor, and staff-facing AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, and Microsoft Fabric
- Build prompts, workflows, connectors, knowledge sources, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions using approved institutional data
- Translate business use cases into technical requirements, solution designs, prototypes, and testing plans
- Develop data quality rules, validation processes, metadata management, and end-to-end lineage across systems
- Build and maintain data integration pipelines, Fabric assets, and APIs using source control and deployment best practices
- Create Power BI dashboards and semantic models monitoring AI performance, adoption, and data quality
- Document AI architecture, data sources, safeguards, limitations, and responsible AI practices
