Anthropic is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to guide UK enterprise clients in deploying Claude into their operations. This role blends technical architecture advisory with pre-sales engagement, helping C-level stakeholders understand the business value of AI while ensuring secure and scalable implementation. You will act as the trusted technical advisor for large-scale deployments, bridging the gap between engineering teams and executive decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to drive enterprise customers from initial conversation through procurement and deployment.
- Lead technical evaluations, proofs of value, and architecture design for LLM-powered applications.
- Advise customer engineering teams on agent design, evaluation frameworks, and integration best practices.
- Present business value cases to C-level executives, linking AI capabilities to measurable outcomes like cost and risk reduction.
- Navigate complex procurement cycles, including security reviews, compliance (UK GDPR), and data residency requirements.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
- Proven track record in pre-sales or technical advisory roles within large enterprise environments.
