About the Role
AWS Hardware Engineering team seeks a Systems Development Engineer to build the backbone of Generative AI cloud. This role involves working on server designs for AWS, debugging complex systems, and driving reliability for AI/ML workloads.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical solutions for server system architecture and reliability.
- Write code to proactively identify and fix issues before they impact customers.
- Decompose complex system problems into manageable components.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver next-generation AWS platforms.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, etc.)
- Experience with automation tools for building, testing, releasing or monitoring.
- Strong systems debugging skills and understanding of hardware-software interactions.
Nice to Have
- Python scripting proficiency.
- Experience with highly concurrent, high throughput systems.
- Knowledge of complex distributed systems.
