AI Engineer

Air Bank is building a small AI team to develop internal tools and products with real impact on bank operations. The role involves building production applications over LLMs, such as RAG pipelines, document data extraction, communication categorization and summarization, and voice transcription systems.

• Design and develop production AI applications using Python (FastAPI), Java, or Go.
• Address technical trade-offs like retrieval quality vs. latency, LLM call costs at scale, chunking and embedding strategies, and output validation.
• Deploy and operate applications in Kubernetes/Podman, work with OracleDB and Azure platform including OpenAI models.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and ensure ongoing operation.

• Experience with Java or Python.
• Ability to think about overall solution architecture.
• Strong interest or experience in working with LLMs in practical applications.
• Familiarity with integration context (Azure, containers, CI/CD tools).
• Team player with good communication skills.

• Experience with Go is a plus.
• Knowledge of MCP servers and agent systems.
