Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer - Bidding (Bangkok based, relocation provided)

Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer role leading the technical direction of ML systems for bidding at Agoda. You will improve scalability, accuracy, and efficiency of ML pipelines, working with large-scale data and deploying models to production.

• Lead the team technically in improving scalability, stability, accuracy, speed and efficiency of ML systems and processes
• Build, administer and scale ML processing pipelines using Python3, Scala Spark, Hadoop, SQL, S3
• Design, build, test and deploy new libraries, frameworks or full systems with high code quality standards
• Work with experienced engineers and product owners to automate large-scale data management/analysis tasks
• Take end-to-end ownership of delivering ML models to production at scale

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering or related field
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in ML
• Expert in SQL, Python3, and a JVM language (Java or Scala)
• Expert in software design/design patterns, functional and OOP
• Strong analytical problem-solving and engineering mindset

• Understanding of Hadoop ecosystems and Big Data architecture
