About the Role
This role is for a Machine Learning Engineer to work on AI-OCR, LLM, and computer vision products at a Tokyo-based AI SaaS company. You will collaborate with researchers and engineers to develop proprietary AI models. The company is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and offers a chance to work on production AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work on cutting-edge AI products actively used in production
- Collaborate closely with in-house researchers and ML engineers
- Work on Computer Vision, NLP, document analysis, and LLMs
- Develop proprietary AI models and run experiments
- Participate in Scrum development environment
Requirements
- Experience implementing AI/ML models using Python
- Research experience in Computer Vision or NLP
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields
- Ability to independently read, validate, and implement latest research papers
Nice to Have
- Research publications or conference presentation experience
- Experience with LLM research or development
- Kaggle competition achievements
- Open source contributions
- Agile development experience
- PhD in Computer Science or related fields
