About the Role

Accenture Czech Republic is seeking a Gen AI Engineer to join their AI & Data Practice. The role focuses on developing and deploying Generative AI and ML prototypes on Google Cloud Platform, particularly using Vertex AI and Gemini models. You will work on RAG pipelines, integrate models with backend systems, and collaborate with senior architects and clients. The position offers growth towards GCP specialization and certifications.

Responsibilities

Build and iterate GenAI/ML prototypes and PoCs on Google Cloud (Vertex AI, Gemini).
Implement RAG pipelines: document ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, vector search.
Integrate models into applications via Python and API (backend, databases, internal systems).
Deploy solutions on Cloud Run / Cloud Functions using API Gateway / Pub/Sub.
Fine-tune prompts, perform basic evaluation of response quality, and implement guardrails.
Collaborate with architects, senior team members, and clients to translate requirements into functional implementations.

Requirements

Proficient in Python, data handling, and REST API calls.
Basic experience with GCP (Cloud Run/Functions, Storage, IAM); ideally Vertex AI.
Practical knowledge of at least one framework such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
Understanding of embeddings, semantic search, and vector search.
Fluent English and Czech/Slovak (German is a plus).
