AI Engineer

3Core Systems is hiring an AI Engineer for a client in Denver, CO on a 6-12 month contract-to-hire basis. The role focuses on operational AI governance, including maintaining an inventory of AI/agent solutions, tracking controls, and ensuring data protection and identity requirements. You'll work closely with builders using Microsoft Copilot Studio and agentic AI workflows, manage governance dashboards, and help implement DLP and access controls.

• Maintain an authoritative inventory of AI assets including owner, purpose, connectors, data sources, risk tier, and review date
• Work closely with builders in Copilot/agentic environments and engage in hands-on work as necessary
• Manage governance dashboards and reporting
• Ensure Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data classification, connectors, and identity/access controls are implemented

• Understanding of AI governance / Responsible AI / AI controls
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Agentic AI concepts and workflows
• Experience in AI asset/inventory management
• Exposure to low-code development
• Ability to understand how agents are built and deployed
• Strong communication and cultural fit
