Zoom is building the next generation of AI Companion powered by Agentic Retrieval. This role involves designing and developing core retrieval and reasoning systems for AI-powered workflows across enterprise apps. You will work on the Agentic Retrieval team to build scalable retrieval systems and RAG pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Designing and building scalable retrieval systems using vector and semantic search
- Designing and optimizing RAG pipelines for multi-step AI agents
- Building indexing pipelines for enterprise data
- Developing ranking and relevance modeling frameworks
- Ensuring permission-aware retrieval and multi-tenant isolation
- Partnering with product and research teams
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in ML, search infrastructure, or distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with large-scale search/recommendation platforms
- Understanding of IR, knowledge graphs, and structured query systems
- Experience with RAG systems and LLM applications
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, C#, or C++
