Machine Learning Engineer - LLM, AI & Robotics

XPENG is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to fine-tune LLMs for humanoid robots and autonomous driving. The role involves developing efficient LLMs, scaling training pipelines, and generating synthetic data. Requires a PhD and strong background in ML, NLP, and Python.

• Fine-tune pre-trained LLM for humanoid robots and autonomous driving cars.
• Work on efficient LLMs for local deployment.
• Develop and maintain LLM training and deployment pipelines.
• Leverage large-scale datasets and computational resources.
• Generate synthetic data to improve data diversity and quality.
• Align with cross-functional teams on product needs.

• PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• Solid background in machine learning, NLP, computer vision, speech, or data.
• Experience with LLMs.
• Strong Python programming and deep learning framework experience.
• Open-minded, collaborative, and excellent communication skills.

• Deep understanding of LLM architectures, training techniques, and quantization.
• Familiarity with SFT, RLHF, prompt engineering, and RAG.
• Record of publications, innovations, or leadership.
