Venquis is seeking a senior AI Engineer to act as a horizontal AI specialist across Central Services teams, identifying and delivering AI solutions that improve processes and decision-making. The role is both strategic and hands-on, involving building and deploying end-to-end AI applications such as LLM-based copilots, agents, and automation tools. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Central Services teams to identify AI opportunities and prioritize initiatives based on feasibility, impact, and risk.
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions, including LLM-based applications, backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Monitor performance and adoption of AI solutions, iterating based on user feedback.
- Contribute to internal AI standards, tooling, and reusable components, supporting responsible AI usage.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a startup, scale-up, or fast-growing product-led environment.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
