About the Role
Stripe is hiring a Manager for the AI Conversation Platform team to lead ML engineers building RAG-based systems and fine-tuning LLMs for merchant support automation and API natural language interaction.
Responsibilities
- Drive an ambitious vision for AI/ML that benefits users; set technical and process direction; brainstorm and coordinate product integrations; propose new ideas and build prototypes; hire and develop a world-class ML team; coach engineers to help them grow.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience managing ML teams; experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer, Applied Scientist, or equivalent individual contributor; experience building and shipping ML systems; ability to thrive in collaborative cross-functional environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with shipping LLM and RAG systems.
