About the Role
Sia's Data Science team is seeking a Consultant Data Engineer to work on client projects and internal AI solutions. The role involves cloud services, containerization, Python development, CI/CD, data pipelines, and ML infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Cloud services on GCP, AWS, Azure: architecture, storage, compute, cost monitoring, IaC
- Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Python programming for server-side tools, REST APIs, authentication
- CI/CD pipeline management and deployment
- Data pipeline development in Big Data environments
- Technology watch for ML infrastructure solutions
Requirements
- Master's degree with quantitative component
- 1–3 years experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Docker and CI/CD experience
- DevOps culture and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Security awareness
