Liberty Mutual Investments is seeking a Solutions Engineer to design and shape its Generative AI strategy. The role involves mapping LLM/Gen AI capabilities to business needs, prototyping and delivering production-quality solutions on AWS, and leading an engineering pod. This is a green-field initiative to embed Gen AI across the Investments organization.
Responsibilities
Map LLM/Gen AI capabilities to business needs and design secure, scalable solution architectures
Rapidly prototype and code Gen AI proofs-of-concept; build production-quality Python (and occasional React) services on AWS
Partner with product owner and investment stakeholders to refine requirements and set technical direction
Track the Gen AI landscape, including model releases, orchestration frameworks, and prompt-engineering trends
Establish engineering standards for code quality, observability, cost-efficient LLM usage, and secure development
Mentor MLOps engineers and full-stack developers
Requirements
Experience designing end-to-end solutions as an architect or senior engineer; proven Tech Lead for small agile teams
