Quartermaster is building Toronto's dedicated home management platform, connecting homeowners with trusted local Pros. As an AI Engineer, you'll design and ship LLM-powered and agentic features across the product, integrating APIs and frameworks into the Python/TypeScript SaaS stack. This hands-on role focuses on production software engineering for LLMs—prompting, agentic workflows, and model integration—rather than traditional ML modeling.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and ship LLM-powered and agentic features across the Quartermaster product
Integrate LLM APIs and agentic frameworks into the Python/TypeScript SaaS stack
Own features from API design and prompt/agent design through testing, deployment, and monitoring
Collaborate with product and engineering to scope and prioritize intelligent features
Apply sound software engineering practices to LLM-based features, including evaluation and regression testing
Help establish internal patterns and conventions for building and maintaining LLM/agentic features
Requirements
Hands-on experience building with LLMs (prompting, API integration, agentic workflows)
Strong software engineering fundamentals with Python
Background in SaaS web development and shipping production features
