Machine Learning Engineer

Nextera Robotics is a fast-growing industrial robotics and AI company founded by MIT alumni, serving clients like Dunkin Donuts, Tesla, and other Fortune 500 companies. We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to build and maintain state-of-the-art ML models for robotics, construction, energy, and telecommunications. You will also work on MLOps, grow training data, and build cloud infrastructure for ML pipelines.

• Build and maintain state-of-the-art machine learning models for robotics, construction, energy, and telecommunications
• Work with engineers and annotators to grow a bank of high-quality training data
• Perform Machine Learning Operations (MLOps)
• Maintain and build cloud architecture for ML pipelines

• Advanced training in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or another highly quantitative field
• Proven academic or industry experience with machine vision, object detection, ViTs, or related technology
• Excellent Python skills
• Structured approach to problem solving, creativity, strong communication skills, leadership skills
• Familiarity with MySQL

• Back-end experience with popular frameworks, Django knowledge is an advantage
