Machine Learning Engineer - Associate

Voyager Space seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to develop deep learning technologies for computer vision, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and geospatial exploitation. The role involves designing neural network architectures, training models for object detection and classification, and delivering production-quality Python code. This position supports U.S. government customers and requires eligibility for a security clearance.

• Research, design, prototype, and implement advanced deep neural network architectures and ML models
• Apply deep learning algorithms to train neural networks for object detection and classification
• Develop domain-aware pre-processing algorithms to increase model generalization
• Apply signal pre-processing techniques to SAR data
• Create physics simulations and methods to account for bias between simulated and real-world data
• Develop objective functions and performance assessment plans
• Present work at meetings and conferences
• Develop and deliver production-quality Python code

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)
• 0–5 years of applicable experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
