Manulife's AI Team is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to develop end-to-end AI models for sales and marketing. The role involves building and deploying GenAI applications on Azure cloud, collaborating with data scientists and business leaders. Responsibilities include designing high-performing AI systems, automating data engineering, and monitoring model performance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with architects and technical leaders to design high-performing GenAI applications aligned with business objectives.
- Develop AI models and applications on cloud platforms like Azure Databricks and AKS, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Build scripts, automation, and analytical tools that accelerate data engineering and model deployment activities.
- Deploy machine learning and GenAI models into production environments, ensuring interoperability with systems, APIs, and data sources.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of AI models through data analysis and testing.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field with 3 years of applicable experience in AI / Data Science, or a combination of education and experience.
