MLOps Engineer for the Peakon agent system at Workday, responsible for operating and hardening production infrastructure for LLM-driven autonomous agents, managing deployments, monitoring, and incident response to ensure reliability.
Responsibilities
- Manage the deployment lifecycle for the Peakon Agent and other AI Features; ensure reliability of long-running agentic loops, memory stores, and tool-use environments; build tooling for agent trajectory and evaluation data; support performance testing, latency benchmarking, and load simulations for LLM-driven applications; automate security upgrades for ML dependencies.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience; Bachelor's/Master/PhD in CS, Data Science, or related field; proven MLOps or ML-savvy SRE/Platform Engineer supporting production-grade LLM and agentic systems; proficiency in Python, LangChain, LlamaIndex; hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps (GitHub Actions); deep understanding of ML stacks and production infrastructure ownership; experience with model monitoring and automated evaluation using LangSmith.
Nice to Have
- Solid knowledge of data science principles and ML algorithms applied to LLMs, RAG, and autonomous agents; experience with fine-tuning, alignment techniques, prompt engineering; strong system design and architectural governance; expertise in threat modeling and security for ML/agent systems; experience in highly regulated enterprise environments.
