Harmattan AI is a next-generation defense prime building autonomous and scalable defense systems. As a Computer Vision Engineer on the Tracker team, you will develop a global 3D object tracking pipeline at the intersection of computer vision, sensor fusion, and GNC. You will research and implement state-of-the-art tracking approaches, fuse multi-sensor data, and optimize algorithms for edge deployment on drones.
Responsibilities
- Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision approaches to object tracking across multiple modalities, combining classical and geometrical methods with in-house AI detection models.
- Fuse data from multiple sensors (cameras, IMU, radar, etc.) for high-precision target estimation and robust tracking in challenging conditions.
- Optimize and embed tracking algorithms on heterogeneous, low-compute platforms for real-time performance on drones.
- Collaborate with GNC, Sensor Fusion, and AI teams to integrate tracking pipelines into a production-ready environment.
- Stay at the forefront of computer vision, tracking, and sensor fusion research to introduce cutting-edge methodologies.
- Depending on seniority, mentor or manage junior engineers.
Requirements
- Strong academic record with a degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related).
