About the Role
Graphcore is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Triton team, focusing on designing and optimizing the Triton compiler for Graphcore's AI accelerators. The role involves working with ML frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow, developing new features, and collaborating with upstream communities.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new features; developing and maintaining unit, component, and integration tests; optimizing the software stack for performance; managing complex technical tasks with cross-team dependencies; providing technical leadership and contributing to the team's technical direction; conducting code reviews; resolving regressions and defects; coaching and mentoring team members.
Requirements
- Demonstrable strong software engineering skills; experience with Python/C++ development; experience with compiler development.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MLIR (or SSA-based IRs); knowledge of AI/ML; understanding of computing architectures; experience maintaining complex code bases; experience profiling/optimizing high-performance code; experience writing ML kernels; experience using or developing ML frameworks.
