Finom is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of their Decisioning Risk System (DRS), a production ML platform serving the entire client base. The role involves building and maintaining binary classification and regression models for financial crime detection, credit decisions, and alert suppression. You will design infrastructure for model serving, implement continuous monitoring, and manage champion-challenger frameworks in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the DRS production ML system scoring Finom's entire client base daily.
- Build binary classification and regression models for financial crime detection and credit decisions.
- Manage transaction rules with ML-driven detection mechanisms.
- Set up continuous monitoring and champion-challenger evaluation frameworks.
- Contribute to infrastructure for serving models of varying complexity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Full-stack Data Scientist.
- Proven production deployment experience with API services like FastAPI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud data platforms such as Databricks.
- Hands-on experience with model monitoring and A/B or champion-challenger evaluation in production.
