Join Deloitte's SFL Scientific team as a Senior AI Engineer, where you will design and deploy machine learning infrastructure for transformative AI applications across industries. You'll work with cross-functional teams on cutting-edge use cases like cancer detection, drug discovery, and autonomous systems, leveraging cloud and on-prem technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy architectures for machine learning and automation applications
- Build scalable, high-performance data architecture solutions supporting AI/GenAI use cases
- Define database schemas (Graph, SQL, NoSQL) and optimize algorithm scalability
- Ensure solutions meet security, high availability, and performance requirements in cloud or on-prem environments
- Adopt best practices in automation, HPC, and AI/GenAI infrastructure
- Lead technology proof-of-concepts for new data and cloud solutions
- Mentor and coach junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, etc.) or equivalent experience
- 4+ years in data engineering, data science, software engineering, or MLOps with AI/ML deployment
- 4+ years designing cloud solutions with AWS (or Azure/GCP equivalents)
