Deloitte is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant for Financial Crimes Analytics to assess control design, conduct AML model validation, and develop anti-money laundering strategies. The role involves SQL-based data analytics, outcome analysis, and stakeholder management. This is a 12-month contract based in Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Assess control design and operating effectiveness
- Collaborate with model developers, process owners, and control operators
- Conduct SQL based data analytics for sample selection
- Conduct independent validation test plans
- Develop, implement, and enhance AML strategies
- Document sampling technique and test procedures
- Draft validation reports and working papers
- Identify and mitigate financial crimes risks
- Manage stakeholders, mentor consultants and analysts
- Perform AML model validation
- Perform outcome analysis, sensitivity, benchmarking, replication
- Review ATL/BTL tuning and performance monitoring
- Support issue management and action plan closure
