About the Role

Data Skill Source is hiring an AI Prompt Engineer & Agent Builder to design, test, and iterate on intelligent agents for a fast-growing SaaS client. The role involves developing and optimizing prompts, building AI agents, and working closely with teams. Ideal candidate has hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and scripting.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and optimize prompts that guide AI agents through multi-step workflows
Build and refine AI agents that automate operational and business processes
Debug agent behavior and improve reliability
Translate high-level goals into working agent logic
Collaborate with internal and client teams to map business processes into agentic workflows
Document prompt strategies, configurations, and system behavior

Requirements

Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
Strong prompt design, testing, and optimization skills
Some programming or scripting background (Python, JS, or similar)
Comfort working with workflows, APIs, or system configuration
Experience building chatbots, agents, automations, or internal tools
2+ years AI experience (required)
