Danaher (Abcam) is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to lead the development of their Agentic AI platform in Cambridge, UK. Responsibilities
- Design and lead the delivery of Abcam’s Agentic AI platform and applications, including RAG systems and agent workflows.
- Establish engineering best practices for GenAI/LLM applications, focusing on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Act as a technical leader by mentoring engineers and influencing architectural direction.
- Deploy and operate production-grade AI systems with a focus on performance.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering capability in TypeScript (Python beneficial) with backend/API skills.
- Expertise in Agentic AI systems: RAG, prompt engineering, LLM integration, MCP, agentic workflows.
- Cloud infrastructure expertise in AWS for deploying AI apps.
