About the Role
Citi's Global Rates business seeks an AI Engineer to develop generative AI solutions for trading, risk management, and client service. The role involves designing and deploying production AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks. The engineer will collaborate with traders, quants, and technologists to integrate AI into financial platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI applications using generative AI techniques including LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks.
- Build intelligent automation solutions for trading workflows, risk analysis, and operational efficiency.
- Develop agentic coding systems for autonomous code generation and optimization in financial applications.
- Create conversational AI interfaces and intelligent assistants for traders and business users.
- Architect and implement RAG pipelines for knowledge retrieval from financial data sources.
- Design vector databases and embedding strategies for efficient information retrieval.
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks and fine-tuning strategies for domain-specific LLM applications.
- Build multi-agent systems for complex financial problem-solving.
- Implement guardrails, validation frameworks, and monitoring systems for AI applications.
- Design data pipelines and ETL processes to support AI/ML workflows.
- Create APIs and microservices to integrate AI capabilities into existing trading and risk platforms.
