Remote Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer - Applied Machine Learning Team

Redfin's Applied Machine Learning team leverages large-scale multi-modal property data to power real estate recommendations and price estimation. This Senior ML Engineer role bridges research and engineering by productionizing models, building MLOps pipelines, and ensuring reliable performance at scale for millions of users.

• Productionize research-grade code into scalable systems.
• Implement MLOps best practices including CI/CD and automated retraining.
• Optimize models for inference speed and efficiency.
• Monitor models for data drift and latency.
• Co-create data-driven insights for valuation and recommender systems.
• Build data products and analytical tools impacting business metrics.

• 5+ years software engineering experience, at least 2 in production ML.
• Proficient in Python and writing production-grade code.
• Deep understanding of ML lifecycle (training, inference, feature stores, versioning).
• Competent with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to implement model monitoring and A/B testing.
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with Spark or Kafka.
