About the Role
BCG X is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer Intern to join its rapidly growing engineering team. The intern will help build next-generation AI solutions, owning the full analytics value chain from framing business challenges to deploying scalable software. This role involves partnering directly with clients across industries and contributing to thought leadership in AI.
Responsibilities
- Own the full analytics value chain: framing business challenges, designing algorithms, implementing and deploying scalable solutions
- Partner with clients in various regions and industries to design, build, and deploy innovative AI solutions
- Apply software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software
- Contribute to thought leadership by developing papers and leading conferences on behalf of BCG X
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university Master's or PhD degree program in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field
- Passion for software development, large-scale data analytics, and AI transformation
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with non-technical teams and consultants
