We are seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design and build AI-native systems for a next-generation neobank application. The ideal candidate will leverage large language models and modern AI frameworks to deliver scalable financial solutions. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals combined with practical experience in deploying production-grade AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-native features for banking applications
- Integrate LLMs and machine learning models into production environments
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements
- Optimize model performance and ensure system reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience building AI/ML applications in production
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms and API development
- Must be legally authorized to work in Portugal
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech or banking domain
