About the Role
Avenga is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and build intelligent agentic frameworks and production-ready AI applications. The role involves rapid prototyping, prompt engineering, and managing the ML lifecycle. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies like LangChain, GCP/Azure, and Python.
Responsibilities
- Design and orchestrate scalable AI applications and agent behaviors
- Build lightweight PoCs and retrieval pipelines (RAG/CAG)
- Develop and refine prompts and system instructions
- Manage CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and security for ML lifecycle
- Define evaluation sets and interpret results to improve accuracy
- Optimize platform performance and ensure scalability and security
- Share best practices and act as bridge between design and engineering
Requirements
- 5+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or ML application development
- Strong experience with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen)
- Understanding of RAG, vector search, and conversational AI architecture
- Cloud expertise in GCP (Vertex AI) or Azure (Azure OpenAI, APIM, Cognitive Search)
- Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Terraform
- Strong Python skills including FastAPI and asynchronous coding
