Senior Machine Learning Engineer, MLOps West Coast

Autodesk seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer focused on MLOps for CAD and BIM. You'll build and operate infrastructure to deploy and monitor AI models in production, ensuring reliability and scalability. Collaborate with researchers and product teams to deliver AI-powered experiences.

• Automate model testing and validation, implement CI/CD pipelines for safe deployments.
• Provision and manage backend inference resources (compute, containers, scaling).
• Monitor model health and performance, triage issues, and drive incident response.
• Own end-to-end REST API integration for backend model services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with researchers, evaluation engineers, and product teams.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in production services.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-hosted containerized services.
• Experience building REST APIs using Python frameworks.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and written communication.

• Experience running production ML/LLM inference services.
