Join Apple's Proactive Intelligence Platform team to build an on-device personal and contextual intelligence platform used across iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, and Private Cloud Compute. You will collaborate across Apple on training, qualifying, deploying, and serving ML and generative AI models, and design systems and APIs that bring cutting-edge research to hundreds of millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams across Apple on training, qualifying, deploying, and serving models
- Design and refine systems and APIs for Machine Learning and Generative AI
- Adapt new model architectures to constraints of their execution environments
- Participate in all stages of software development, from feature design to maintenance and bug fixing
- Develop and improve unit tests and performance tests, and diagnose customer-reported issues
- Work with leadership across Apple to define policy
Requirements
- Strong understanding of OS architecture and systems programming fundamentals
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent software design, problem solving, and debugging skills
- Experience working throughout the stack
