Apple's Camera Algorithm team seeks an algorithm engineer to develop and productize embedded, lightweight computer vision algorithms for ISP processing and capture control. Responsibilities
Develop lightweight computer vision algorithms for embedded systems, focusing on efficiency and performance.
Utilize traditional CV techniques (e.g., image processing, feature detection, IMU) and modern learning-based approaches.
Drive algorithm development from concept to deployment, optimizing for power and processing efficiency.
Use camera simulations to prototype and test algorithms before hardware implementation.
Conduct on-device and field testing to validate algorithm performance in real-world scenarios.
Collaborate with SOC architecture, firmware, and other camera technology teams to integrate algorithms effectively.
Requirements
PhD degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
