Zone 5 Technologies is building autonomous UAS solutions and hiring an MLOps Engineer to grow in-house LLM tooling. The role focuses on LLM applications, RAG, agentic workflows, and AI infrastructure on Kubernetes. Responsibilities span building AI-powered capabilities, deploying reliable services, and ensuring secure data boundaries.
Responsibilities
- Design and build LLM-powered tools and agentic workflows
- Extend and improve RAG systems—ingestion, chunking, embedding, retrieval, ranking, and evaluation
- Build tool integrations connecting LLMs to internal systems and data sources
- Deploy AI tools and services to production, managing Kubernetes infrastructure and model serving
- Implement monitoring, logging, and usage observability
- Ensure retrieval and agent tools respect access boundaries and integrate with existing identity systems
- Build CI/CD pipelines and automate provisioning with Ansible and infrastructure-as-code
- Build data pipelines and manage vector databases for RAG and AI workloads
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
