WE ARE META is seeking a Data Engineer with MLOps expertise for a hybrid contract role based in Lisbon, Portugal. The role involves building and maintaining complex data pipelines, deploying production-grade solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, and applying MLOps best practices.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex data pipelines, API integrations, and Monorepo-structured codebases.
- Deploy scalable, production-grade solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer / MLOps Engineer
- Hands-on expertise with GCP (BigQuery focus) and modern data architectures
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation
- Practical MLOps knowledge covering model lifecycle management, packaging, deployment, and monitoring
- Fluency in English B2/C1 + Portuguese (Fluent)
- Availability for a hybrid model (based in Lisbon, Portugal)
- Candidate must be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
