The Senior IT AI Architect/Designer will lead the development of enterprise AI strategy and architecture for a government client in Toronto. This fully onsite role requires hands-on expertise in designing scalable AI solutions using modern technologies like Machine Learning, Large Language Models, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The architect will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to align AI initiatives with organizational standards and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to the organization's overall AI strategy
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical architectures for enterprise AI solutions
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for AI implementation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective AI architectures
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to AI capabilities
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing AI strategy and enterprise-scale AI architecture
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and RAG
- Experience creating enterprise architecture deliverables across application and technology domains
- Project management experience within structured technology environments
