About the Role
Tulip is looking for an AI Platform Engineer to partner with business teams and build AI agents and internal agentic platform solutions. The role involves designing, building, and shipping AI agents that non-technical teams adopt, with a focus on reliability, ROI, and integration across the company's tech stack. You will also contribute to AI enablement and strategy, working closely with engineering, operations, and GTM teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to identify high-leverage AI opportunities and co-design, build, and launch them
- Build and ship AI agents that non-technical teams use to automate workflows
- Translate messy business problems into clear, ROI-driven agentic solutions
- Architect and build the internal agentic AI platform, including standards and secure integrations
- Track external developments in agentic AI and shape internal AI strategy
- Support AI enablement through learning programs and coaching
Requirements
- 5+ years of software experience with hands-on AI/LLM work in production
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, and RAG
- Comfort owning a full stack, with strong TypeScript or similar proficiency
- Familiarity with API design and integration (RESTful services)
- Track record of building internal tools adopted by non-technical teams
