This Irish healthcare AI company is seeking a Senior MLOps/NLP Engineer to build and deploy NLP models using PyTorch and Hugging Face. The role involves developing ML pipelines, integrating LLMs via APIs, and fine-tuning ASR models. You will work on MLOps, backend services, and cloud platforms like AWS Bedrock.
Responsibilities
- NLP API development and maintenance (40%)
- MLOps design and maintenance of data pipelines, automation, model versioning (20%)
- ASR model fine-tuning (15%)
- LLM fine-tuning for ASR (15%)
- R&D and experimentation (20%)
Requirements
- 3+ years PyTorch experience
- Experience deploying GPU models in production
- 2+ years commercial experience with transformer-based NLP models
- Practical experience with Hugging Face Transformers library
- 2+ years production deployment of Transformer/NLP models
- Solid MLOps experience: model versioning, experiment tracking, CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
- Proficient in Python for backend and ML pipelines (FastAPI, Flask)
- Hands-on cloud ML platform experience (AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI)
