About the Role
Join the AI Agent team at Simetrik to design, build, and deploy production-ready AI agents for clients and internal operations. Collaborate directly with clients, own end-to-end development from data to deployment, and optimize LLMs using prompting, RAG, and fine-tuning. This is a full-stack engineering role requiring strong engineering judgment and product thinking.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents for customer-specific use cases and scalable internal products.
- Partner directly with clients to understand business needs and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
- Own end-to-end development lifecycle from data and modeling to backend integration and cloud deployment.
- Adapt and optimize LLMs using prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, and other techniques.
- Ensure production readiness through testing, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Build scalable APIs and services.
- Contribute reusable components and make decisions on system design, security, and code quality.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or machine learning.
- Hands-on experience with API development and model serving (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, Cohere).
